Land yachting is an exciting, dynamic outdoor hobby where you can safely enjoy the exhilaration of speed whilst maintaining green credentials. Our club is based at Elvington airfield, just outside York, where we have approximately 25 days sailing per year though our members also sail at beach venues locally and around the UK. Some members enjoy land yachting purely recreationally; others combine this with racing at both national and European events.
Our members include the current Mini Class British Champion plus four others in the top ten of the championship. At YLYC we have members of all ages and offer both family and individual membership.
