York Light Orchestra is a non auditioning orchestra, we meet every Thursday evening 7.30-9.30pm at Acomb Methodist Church.

Our season is from September to mid July. We play a wide variety of music including popular classics, selections from musicals, film and tv themes and even some pop music. We aim to play at least 3 concerts each season for local charities and community groups.

We are actively recruiting cellos, violas and violins but other instruments are welcome if there is a vacancy. For more information see our website www.ylo.org.uk, find us on Facebook or call the secretary on (01904) 870759 or just come along and meet us.
