Inspired by the Marathon du Medoc in the French wine region, the marathon takes racers on a winding 10K route around the picturesque countryside surrounding Malton and features a range of tasty food and drink stops, all provided by local Malton producers, to enjoy along the way.

And with a programme of live music and entertainment all day long, this race is just as much fun for the spectators cheering on the racers. What’s more, foodie themed fancy dress is highly encouraged, with prizes for the best dressed in the ‘Classique’ and ‘Escargot’ categories.
