The business was established through a collaboration of family members and friends with backgrounds in commercial sheeting, roofing and joinery. This combination of skills has helped the business develop a broad service offering.

“We want to provide customers with straightforward advice and a complete roofing service,” says Ben Wall, owner. “Whether it’s a small repair or a full re-roof, our focus is on helping people understand their options and finding the best solution for their property.”

Xtreme Roofing carries out a wide range of work, including re-roofs, roof repairs, rubber roofing, GRP fibreglass roofing, fascias, soffits and guttering, dry ridge and dry verge systems, Velux windows, dormers, leadwork and repointing.

While roof replacements are among the company’s most requested services, Ben says repairs can often be a practical alternative.

“Not every roof needs replacing,” he explains. “Sometimes maintenance or targeted repairs can extend the life of a roof and help homeowners manage costs.”

The company has worked on a variety of projects, from residential properties to heritage sites, including the Castle Howard Estate and Byland Abbey, as well as student accommodation developments and council contracts.
Technology also plays a role in the inspection process. Xtreme Roofing uses drone surveys to provide customers with visual evidence of any issues identified during roof inspections.
