More than 80 per cent of Instyle Kitchens & Bedrooms’ customers come through word of mouth – from family, friends and neighbours who’ve already had a positive experience.

James and Heather from Wigginton wrote: “You made the experience stress-free and were a great help from designing the kitchen right up until it was installed. The end result is exactly what we wanted and more. The quality of the kitchen is excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone.”

Director Paul explains: “Often, someone looking for a new kitchen pops in while they’re shopping around. But once they mention to family or friends that they’ve visited Instyle, they hear: ‘You must go with Instyle – they did my kitchen, my neighbours’ kitchen, my aunty’s kitchen…’ That kind of recommendation means a lot.”

Some customers even return for a second kitchen.

“One lady came back to us after moving house,” says Paul. “Her new kitchen was only ten years old, but she wanted exactly what we’d fitted before. She said she couldn’t settle for anything less.”

After 35 years of trading, Instyle has grown from a one-man band fitting one kitchen a month to a close-knit team designing and installing three kitchens a week, plus bedrooms and UPVC windows and doors.

Their fitters have been with the business for over 25 years, and their electrician for more than 15. It’s a team that knows how to work together, and customers benefit from that experience.

Their extensive contacts throughout the industry mean they can source just about any kitchen you may have seen and offer one of the widest choices of styles and designs in the area.

A visit to their well-established showroom in Haxby is the first step. From there, Instyle’s experts handle everything from creative design to final installation. Around 90% of kitchens are completed within a week, with granite worktops or large-scale refits taking a little longer.

Although a new kitchen is a big investment, Instyle consistently beats competitors on price. And if budget is tight, a kitchen or bedroom facelift—new cupboard doors, worktops and flooring—can deliver the feel of a brand-new room for half the cost.

“We don’t use pressure sales tactics,” says Paul. “We just make sure we provide exactly what the customer wants, at extremely competitive prices.”
