Is 2021 the Year To Make Your Move?

by Scott Anscomb

So many people have said to us that they are glad to see the back of 2020 and feeling much more positive about this year.

One thing that the last year has taught us all is that we must value what we have and focus on what is important. With lockdown restrictions still in place and the pressures of working from home, and some having to take on home-schooling, is moving home really something you should be making a priority?

Surprisingly, for many people it is.

Never have we all spent so much time at home, nor have we ever had to rely on our property to function as a home, place of work, play area, and school‚ÄĒto name but a few. For some, their home has been the one safe place that has provided security, reassurance, a sanctuary, and exactly what they needed to get them through. For others less fortunate, it has been all about compromise, making do with a lack of space, and feeling trapped or isolated, living away from friends and family.

Either way, I think we have all evaluated how we feel about where we live and how fundamental it is to our happiness and wellbeing.

Mental health is talked about so much more now and for all the right reasons; as well as looking after ourselves physically, it is important that we do so mentally. Life is very different from what it has been‚ÄĒand we are all having to adapt and embrace change.

Family circumstances often change and prompt a home move, be it children leaving home, a growing young family, a family breakdown, or new families coming together. And now we have the requirement for space to work from home and the pressure on your broadband speed to add to the list!

Unfortunately, moving home and selling a property can be a stressful experience. That’s where we come in. Let us take the strain and give you the advice you need to make informed decisions. We are delighted that our customers consistently rank us 5 stars on Google and proactively recommend us to their family and friends. So, if you are looking for an estate agent that you can trust, then check out what their customers have to say.

If 2021 is the time to make your move to achieve the things that will make you happy, then contact us. We would love to hear from you and help make it happen.

We also have our sister company MAPIO Financial that can help with all your mortgage and protection needs. There has never been a more important time to get the very best advice.
