London 100 mile Tandem Challenge for visually impaired rider

by Handymag

The lovely Liz Pimperton, who has sight loss, has stepped up to ride an amazing 100 mile challenge event for the Wilberforce Trust.

Liz is a keen cyclist who hasn’t let deteriorating sight stop her from continuing to pursue one of her major passions. She’s now the driving force on the back of the tandem!

Celebrating the legacy for cycling created by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 follows a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside.

With leg-testing climbs and a route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics, it’s a seriously spectacular event for all involved. The ride takes place on Sunday 4 August 2019.

Please sponsor Liz on her truly epic challenge and help other people with sight loss to continue to do the things in life they love most.
