Marking International Women’s Day on 8th March, Magnificent Women is an inspiring and motivating event at The Talbot in Malton organised by local business owner Audrie Woodhouse.
She said: “I was keen for both men and women come together to celebrate the magnificent women in our community and local businesses who raise us all up by doing what they do best.
“There will be fantastic guest motivational speakers including Gemma Smith, managing director of Strata, and Sandro Forte, speaker and podcaster from Forte Financial. Join in the conversation with our local voices panel of women business owners including Sarah Clark from Interiors at Nine to Eleven, author Sarah Banks and Angela Raine, local councillor. More names will be announced closer to the time!
“Alongside drinks and canapes from our very own Malton Relish, it is a great opportunity to meet, network and celebrate.”
The event is not-for-profit and Audrie is keen to support women early in their careers. She explained: “You can pay it forward! This is a not-for-profit community event and when you purchase a ticket you will also be paying it forward by nominating an aspiring young woman to join you as your guest.”
