Ryedale Dog Rescue
The last edition of the Handy Mag took a closer look at the Ryedale Dog Rescue ‘Wombles’, our small band of volunteers helping the charity through these difficult times. Although our focus has been on fundraising, we’re still working hard to find forever homes for the dogs currently in our care.
Details of all our dogs currently available for adoption can be found at http://www.ryedaledogrescue.com/category/dogs-we-have-at-the-moment/. Some dogs find homes quite easily, but some, for various reasons, end up as longer term residents. Like Flossie and Polly. This lovely pair came into the care of RDR in December 2018 due to their owner’s terminal illness. They have been much loved pets and we are looking for a home where they can stay together. In all the time they have been with us we’ve only received one enquiry about these two lovely girls. They are such happy dogs and no bother at all, so really deserve a home where they can be loved and looked after. Flossie is ten years old and a greyhound cross, while Polly is 4 years old and is a Deerhound cross. Both girls are now fully vaccinated and spayed. They are great with other dogs and love humans but unfortunately do not like cats and will chase them. If you’re thinking about rehoming a dog, and have room for two in your heart and home, please consider Flossie and Polly. When you meet them, you won’t be disappointed.
If you’re interested in rehoming Flossie and Polly, or any of our other dogs, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone Rosie Stephenson on 07581 324153.
