Ryedale Dog Rescue has a new website. From Saturday 1st May our new address is www.ryedaledogrescue.org.uk.
The new site has a fresh look; it’s mobile friendly; and it includes all the essential information about RDR and our work. Over the next few months, we’ll be adding new features, including a photo gallery, an updated donations page, and better links with our social media accounts.
We also have a new email address: email@example.com.
While we’ve wanted to make some changes to our website for a while, the events of the last twelve months have shown us how important our online presence is. Fundraising during the pandemic has been a challenge, but our website and social media have helped us thrive. Even though we’ll be out and about more now the restrictions are starting to lift, our website and social media will still play a large part in how we operate.
The new site has been built and is managed by RDR volunteers, helped by a generous grant from the Marshall and Viggars Charitable Trust.
Meanwhile, COVID restrictions permitting, if you’d like to come and say hello to us face-to-face, we’ve got open air stalls outside the Milton Rooms on Saturday 8 May and Saturday 12 June. We’ll all be wearing our (rather fetching) RDR facemasks and be socially distanced. After twelve months of online meetings, we’re getting quite excited about seeing each other “for real”. Come and grab a bargain and say hello; we’d love to see you.
