For the dogs and volunteers at Ryedale Dog Rescue, spring means better weather for sun-filled walks and the start of our main fundraising season.

After two years of restrictions, things are looking promising, and we have a full list of events lined up. You can find up to date details of events on our Facebook page and website at www.ryedaledogrescue.org.uk, but here are a few highlights:

  • On Sunday 3rd April we’ll be on the green at Hutton le Hole. We’ll be selling bric-a-brac, crafts, and gifts, as well as a tombola. We’ll be there from 11 am until 2.30 pm.
  • At RDR we love a show and this year we’ll be at Malton show on Sunday 26th June, and Driffield Show on 20th and 21st July. Come and join in our fun dog classes.
  • Sunday 24th July is the date for our own Fun Dog Show, at Malton Cricket club. There will be our usual mix of fun dog classes, stalls selling all sorts and plenty of food and drink.
  • Our pop up shop this year will begin on 21st October. We’re still in the planning stages, so keep an eye out on our website for more details.
  • Where would November be without our Charity Auction? The date is still to be confirmed, but we’ll be at Malton Cricket club for pie, peas, and some fantastic auction lots.
  • Finishing off the year, our Winter Fun Dog Show will be at the Milton Rooms on Sunday 27th December.

We’re going to be busy, but we’re looking forward to seeing you all again. If you have any queries about RDR please email us at enquiries@ryedaledogrescue.org.uk or call us on 07581 324153.
