Peter Heaton at the Yorkshire Arboretum

by Editorial Team

Peter Heaton brings atmospheric landscape exhibition to the Yorkshire Arboretum.

Peter Heaton, known for his atmospheric, darkroom-produced nature and landscape photographs, is bringing a selection of work to the Yorkshire Arboretum, Wednesday 11th May.

Over the last few years Peter’s work has revolved around the complexities of layering visual information and our interpretations of the resulting images – from sweeping shots of the Yorkshire Wolds to the abstract patterns produced in frozen waterbodies. They transcend categorisation and are often haunting, yet rigorous in their composition and arrangement. He has continued to exhibit widely since 1987, and has work has been featured in many publications and on both BBC and ITV television.

The arboretum will be holding a Meet the Artist event from 6pm, Wednesday 11th May. The exhibition will be freely available to view in the Visitor Centre. Find out more at: www.yorkshirearboretum.org/events
