Q: What makes Wath Court Interiors special?
It’s a relaxed, welcoming space. We’re not a big showroom or a chain. Everything here is chosen with care, and we want people to feel that from the moment they walk in. We believe that great design is about creating beautiful rooms, but also creating spaces that feel right for the people who live in them.
Q: What services do you offer?
We stock beautiful designer fabrics, wallpapers and paints from names like Sanderson, Morris & Co, Linwood and Zoffany, alongside our own bespoke made-to-measure curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery. We offer everything from a one-off design advice to complete home transformations.
Q: How do your design services work?
It’s surprisingly accessible. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by fabric swatches and paint charts, our in-store design appointments are a brilliant starting point, and they’re just £25 for an hour with one of our experts. For larger projects, our Interior Design Service provides a more comprehensive approach, including home visits, detailed design schemes and presentations tailored to your lifestyle, taste and budget.
Q: Tell us more about upholstery
We’re trained upholsterers and take enormous pride in restoring and creating beautiful furniture. Whether it’s reviving a treasured family armchair, re-designing a sofa or creating a statement ottoman, every piece is approached with meticulous attention to detail. We also make bespoke headboards, benches and footstools, all tailored to your exact requirements and finished in fabrics of your choice.
Q: Where do you start with soft furnishings?
Everything is made to measure and tailored to suit each home. Our experienced curtain makers create hand-finished curtains, Roman blinds, pelmets and we can help you to add beautiful finishing touches including trims, leading edges and interlinings. We also supply an extensive range of curtain poles, tracks and other window accessories, alongside bespoke cushions, lampshades, throws, bedspreads and loose covers.
Q: What makes your fabric store so unique?
We stock over 350 fabric rolls ready to take home immediately and hold pattern books from leading names including Romo, Sanderson, Charlotte Gaisford, James Hare and GP&J Baker.
Our wallpaper collection continues to grow, with options to suit both classic country homes and contemporary interiors. We’re particularly excited about our newly acquired Pure Edit collection, offering stylish fabrics and wallpapers from just £29 per metre.
Q: What about those who love to make for themselves?
Our Upholstery, Sewing and Roman Blind workshops offer customers the opportunity to learn new skills and create their own interiors projects in a supportive and inspiring environment. Our fabric shop ‘Makers Corner’ provides small rolls and fabric remnants perfect for those smaller projects, as well as cushion inner, blind tracks and lampshade kits.
