The Team: The Backbone of the Veterinary Practice

As a ‘work family’ in the true sense of it, at Ryedale Vets we are incredibly proud of our staff and the length of service of so many of our team.

We have many vets who joined fresh from qualifying and never left, staff who have had a break and returned to us, and we are proud to employ and train our own Veterinary Nurses in house. We boast a whopping 252.5 years at our practice between us!

We have been awarded Investors In People (IIP) status which is in recognition of our ongoing dedication to our individual staff members and the team as a whole.

We work very hard to keep Ryedale Vets running smoothly, but we also value a good work life balance and enjoy lots of social events together, from pumpkin carving to meals out and everything in between!

This can only reflect well on our productivity and ultimately on the highest quality of care which we strive to offer to our clients and patients. Continuity of care is of great importance to us, and for you to be able to see familiar and friendly faces, from first point of contact with receptionists through to you appointments and aftercare with our vets and nurses, is of great benefit to you and your pets, especially as these visits can sometimes be a stressful or upsetting time.

We care for your pets as if they were are own, and we are only human; we take our work home with us, the good and the bad days. We are proudly independant and offer our own 24/7 out of hours care. The Veterinary profession as a whole is turbulant at the moment, and every day we appreciate those who believe in us and follow the ‘be kind’ ethos.

We are always here for you.
