I think it’s fair to say 2020 has been a difficult year for most people. Being separated from friends and family is probably the worst thing we’ve all had to endure. However, because of the effect of dentists and hospitals having to withdraw or restrict their services, there is now a real backlog of patients needing to be seen.
Reduced numbers being seen even after opening is causing further problems and all healthcare professionals really are under pressure like never before. Dental practices are trying to work innovatively to increase appointment availability but the reality is 2021 is probably going to be ‘catch up if you can’ year.
The recent closure of a local dental practice has not helped matters and we know people are very worried about gaining access to dental care. We are able to provide access to private dental care as we have extended our days of opening and recruited another dentist. Our commitment to helping people in a safe clean environment continues in these extraordinary times.
If you’re struggling to be seen please feel free to email on email@example.com or call us. Our website gives ideas of prices and discusses our ethos as a practice. Have a look and see if we can help you by providing affordable quality care.
We understand that not everyone can run to private care and would direct you to Alpha Dental in Kirkbymoorside who have received extra emergency funding to treat NHS patients in distress. This funding does not extend to regular non-emergency patients unfortunately and when it is gone the likelihood is future treatment will be on a private basis.
Let’s all work to keep the virus under control and ourselves safe and well so we can meet up again this Christmas Season.
